This week is mainly focused on discussion work referring to themes such as political philosophy/views in Germany, social affairs, violence in society, gender roles, work and unemployment and some cultural aspects such as languages and travelling, going out and cultural differences. We will also cover some important expressions and phrases that we have to deal with in spoken English, especially if you want to put in a little flavour in your speaking skills! Idiomatic expressions, proverbs and phrasal verbs are extremely important and this week we will have a chance to take a closer look at some. All in all, we would like to give you the opportunity to improve your speaking skills and to learn how to discuss by exchanging opinions and to be able to take part in discussion work so that you feel more confident.
